green cardi progress...

Just a couple of quick pics of my knit1 cardi:

I have the back and left front finished. I added about two inches to the length. So far so good!

I need to start looking for some cute buttons. I think that they could actually make or break the sweater! More to come!

That looks great so far. The green is such a great colour. I agree that the buttons are really important, hope you find just the right ones.

I'm so excited to see yours finished! You're so right about the buttons - I was stressed about mine for weeks, hoping they would be perfect. eBay is the key. Good luck!

when looking for buttons i always go through my hold clothing or vintage stores, garage sales, you get the point. You will be astonished at the hidden treasures (buttons in your case) that you will find on clothing, that surely you can buy for a buck, and take them off to use for your new sweater. don't throw away that garment in came with ,because that to can be recycled as lining or what ever comes to mind. of course wash it first. hopes this sets you in a new and exciting direction. the search is half the fun.
